Any spare charging phone/tablet + ultra-dim gross-motor brightness control
The free CareTV clock should be useful on hardware people already own: iPhone, iPad, Android phones, and Android tablets can all be candidate displays while connected to power.
The CareTV web-page brightness control now ranges from 1% through 100% instead of stopping at 15%.
The intent is to allow a bedroom or bathroom clock to become barely visible at night without leaving the CareTV page or adjusting device settings.
The slider area is enlarged again for deliberate gross-motor interaction. It is not designed around fingertip precision. The control should be practical with a whole hand, fist, forearm, or elbow.
Major clock-control buttons remain extremely large and the control panel remains full-screen.
Candidate devices: spare iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Android tablet, dedicated Android display, or another browser-capable screen.
The public web application remains the same:

For a dedicated 24/7 appliance, each underlying operating system must be configured and tested for its own sleep, screen-saver, charging, and power-recovery behavior. A web-page feature cannot override every operating-system power policy.
The public setup instructions now explicitly explain that spare iPhones, iPads and Android devices may be used while charging:
Previous version:
v010 adds the 1%–100% CareTV page dimmer, enlarged elbow/forearm slider, and the explicit goal of reusing spare charging iOS and Android devices.
